Almost 5 Months Old!

More Random Zoo Pics

Taking a nap through the Orangutans area

Creating our own rest stop
Thanks for the kisses Mom, let me smush your cheeks

The flamingos were in a lagoon area with a TON of other birds... Charlie loved them!

At the Polar Bear Plunge - waiting for them to take a dip in the water

Charlie and his Gorilla, Trace

While taking a breather from the hike into see the gorillas and to escape the sun for a few minutes we ducked into a little zoo shop. Charlie became attached to this gorilla. We later named him Trace after the flight attendant on the way home, Tracey.  Tracey gave Charlie his little Southwest wings for his first flight (we know it's not his first flight!)

I'm the real gorilla, I will eat you!

Charlie has started reaching for things that interest him. He became obsessed with Jose's cool soda cup. Once he was able to touch it he wanted to "chew" on it :-) It's tough to walk with him in the bjorn/hold him and keep things out of reach!

San Diego Zoo (late Friday)

Since the little man is now super aware of his surroundings we though it'd be fun to make a quick trip to the zoo before catching our flight home.
Jose, Charlie and sleeping Koala:-)

Charlie didn't care for the bear much...
Our first time seeing a panda - the baby is only 18 months old

Date Night Out @ Cafe Sevilla (Thurs PM)

Annie (my step-mom) suggested this great Spanish resturant in the gaslamp that's been in business for more than 20 years. Jose and I enjoyed Sangria and tapas and the music of my dad's house (Gypsy Kings) while Charlie slept....well, he slept for a little while :-)

While Daddy Was at Work (Thurs.)

I had the itch for a work out and Charlie needed a little fresh air. We took a nice long walk from our hotel in the gaslamp to the marina....
Ready to go - though overdressed for the San Diego weather!
Enjoying the view and the walk :-)

This pic came out a little funny - Charlie didn't want to have his stroller all closed up because he wants to SEE EVERYTHING these days. The sun was too much so I draped my coat over the side and though it doesn't look like it here that gave him shade.
