Tired / Our Town / Ode to Mothers

So many of you ask me every day - "how are you feeling?" It's sweet but it also gets old. In general I'm doing well - I'm sleeping well and no, my back doesn't hurt. I miss wine and caffeine like nobody's business and it's getting extremely difficult for me to get up to teach my morning classes but by the afternoon I am my "normal self".

Yesterday Jose and I toodled down to our farmer's market and we had so much fun. I love all the fresh products and the stroller parade! We live in such a family friendly community and I feel blessed to be surrounded by other families with young children. We also bought the best strawberry shortcake known to man...which I had another piece of for breakfast :-)

Ode to Mothers:
As mother's day approaches I would just like to say I have always respected and admired your job but it has not been until know - with my own impending motherhood on the horizon that I have had even a glimpse of what you face on a daily basis. This weekend we celebrate your courage, love, care and support that you give your family and those that surround you.
